A quick Jack Johnson Lesson - Taylor

Simple. Melodic. Mellow. Optimistic. In only a few words to summarize the bulk of Jack Johnson's creative and inspiring music. In the second album of his career "On and On", Jack Johnson became highly acclaimed making his unmistakable music: the acoustic guitar with the easy rythms.

The lick bellow is taken from the intro to taylor. This is probably one of the most complicated licks on the album, and one of the most catchy. It's not to hard to play. Note the palm mutes. (It makes a difference.) The full guitar tablature can be found here.

Cool Hoobastank Riff!!!

If you haven't checked out the new Hoobastank album it's a must. (Every Man For Himself) Hoobstank is always transforming metal riffs into catchy tunes. This little riff below is off of their second album "The Reason." There are a couple of awsome guitar riffs but this one will definately impress your friends.
